She was a LOVELY 16 hand black TB who had six foals for us! I also rode her foxhunting in First Flight with Live Oak Hounds.....barefoot! In fact she NEVER had a pair of shoes on......and had perfect feet! She was such a sweet, beautiful mare........shown here at the age of 17........after six foals: Kalhua and Cream, Claim to Fame, Flawless, Newsprint, Chromatic and Rodeo' Drive. She was judged premium by Rheinlaand Pfalz Saar International as a 15 year old, and accepted into the Hannoverian Mare Book (quite a feat for a 17 year old TB mare.......and judged "8" for hind legs!!) Every foal she had was "gold premium"......we honor her.......and miss her lots!

It's always fun to be successful, but we were especially proud when the 2006 colt by Claim to Fame and Colormarks went to the Jacksonville Fall Series Hunter Breeding classes and beat all the older horses.....for the title of Best Young Horse. We look forward to showing him on the line more in 2008....he's as perfect as they come in our opinion!!
![]() | Hunt Colors Just took this conformation shot of Hunt Colors 7/07. He is the oldest of our breeding program on our farm....he was out of Black Heather, a mare who won on the line at Devon. She was by SirThompson (Buckpasser/TomFool) bred by Diana Dodge. He is 3/4 TB and stands 16.2. I should have put him on the line, as he is a looker!.....and soo athletic and comfortable. I've shown him in hunters, eventing and he's been my hunt horse for the past five years. Two years ago I led a twenty five mile coyote run for Live Oak Hounds on him......he has no "bottom"..!!
